Pond View is a 5-piece Garage Rock band from New Haven, Connecticut. Luke, Josh and Matt formed the band in 2018 in high school, writing nonsense songs to pass time away in study hall. Now in 2024, after the additions of Mike and Luca, PV is a 5-piece band playing (somewhat) more serious songs all around New England. Pond View has released 2 albums: My Gurl (2021) and SLUDGE (2023), and 1 EP: Mouthbreather (2021).
"Day Late, Dollar Short" is the band's latest venture. The latest record delves into darker sounds than their previous releases, while still holding true to their punk roots. "Ragdoll", "Everyday" and "City Slicker" are the first three installments of the new era. Providing a peek into the bands latest sound of calmer verses and melodies, then exploding into grunge, punky choruses.

The new EP from this evening’s opener, Tetchy, was recently reviewed by Kris Handel of post-trash.com. Kris writes “All in My Head”, from the Maggie Denning led New York four-piece Tetchy, continues to cement them as one of the more creative and fun punk bands around the present day scene. As a songwriter Denning continues to examine and attack life with equal amounts of passion and fury and each release unleashes a new strength and level of depth that seemed out of reach previously. Tetchy reach further into the questioning and anger/doubt of growing up, learning that it’s a constant of adult life, and looks at everything in and around themselves with unflinching honesty and heart. The band turned to the more aggressive on this collection of songs while never totally losing grasp of their pop instincts, musical progress, and searching lyrics.
Esmer is the 20-year-old Indie-R&B producer and singer-songwriter from Hamden, CT. Blending dreamlike and melancholy guitar, his melody floats into the earshot of the crowd.
