You can reserve a FREE place online www.watchtree.co.uk/events in advance to help us manage expected numbers, or simply turn up at the Pond Wood platform on the day.
Explore the hidden wonders of Watchtree’s waters with our resident expert, Steve Routledge. The pond dipping platform in Pond Wood provides the perfect vantage point to observe newts, frogs, dragonfly larvae, water beetles, and other fascinating species in their natural habitat.
Discover Freshwater Ecosystems Participate in hands-on pond dipping to uncover the incredible mini-beasts living beneath the water’s surface. Learn directly from Steve, our water beetle expert, as he shares insights into the secrets of these thriving habitats.
As this is a casual drop-in event, come any time between 10:30am and 12pm.
