'Soli City Ensemble' is an artistic initiative, founded by artist and composer Harald Bjørn, that challenges the intersection of tradition and technology in our mediated world. The orchestra's interdisciplinary investigation explores the dynamic interplay between cultural artifacts and digital technologies, revealing concealed patterns and profound insights within our contemporary society. This concert is the exploration of modern culture — a captivating journey where enchantment meets analysis in the digital age. Join us as we navigate this exciting intersection of technology, storytelling, and culture, forging new paths in understanding the dynamic forces that shapes our contemporary world.
Ryong is a composer, artist & DJ that explores: Danish and Korean heritage, spirituality, embodiment, family and love, Ryong is also a member of the experimental pop band haloplus+. Across her releases, she draws on both ambient, noise and pop music, incorporating the sound of field recordings and spoken word. Having previously released on Why Be’s label Yegorka, and debuting on Posh Isolation with *Isa Ryong*, an 11 part work that explores transition and the anguish of complexity, Ryong has established herself as a unique artist in the experimental electronic music scene in Copenhagen.
Skarv is the moniker of composer, producer, and visual artist Mads Krue Bugge. Delving into sharp auditory investigations, Skarv blurs the lines between human and machine, leaving a void where the natural used to be. His idiosyncratic music swerves past concepts of ambient, hyperpop, techno, fake truth core, holding the computer firmly at the centre of his musical practice. He is member of the ambient quartet Første Kvartal and has previously released the industrial album A Memory Like Any Other and the tech-focused EP Haptic Feedback, and his new album Polymer Veil has just come out on Rhizome. For the concert at Mayhem, Skarv will invite guests from the album on stage for his performance.
