Join us for a creative stone set pendant workshop and make yourself a beautiful semi-precious gem and silver insect necklace in just a day! In this one-day introductory workshop, we’ll explore a range of different techniques, including bezel, or rub-over settings. We’ll cover the basic techniques of saw piercing, soldering, measuring, filing and polishing as you create your stunning pendant to take home and treasure. Choose from our selection of semi-precious gemstones to create exactly the necklace you want. We will also look at some examples setting objects using tab settings. It’s a great technique for anyone working in found objects, or for those who don’t have the confidence to work with a torch on their own.
The Pollinator Pendant Workshop is suitable for complete beginners or anyone who wants to add to their repertoire of jewellery skills. It’s a great class to combine with our other beginner's workshops as you begin to build up your jewellery skill set.
