Pollinator Palooza at Mason Neck State Park
About this Event
This family-friendly event will feature hands-on activities and exhibits presented by Mason Neck State Park interpreters and community partners, including the Fairfax Master Naturalists, Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, Fairfax Master Gardeners, Fairfax Tree Stewards, and others. Visitors can tour the park's pollinator gardens and discover how adding just a few native plants to their yards can provide valuable habitat for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators.
Sponsored by the Friends of Mason Neck State Park, Pollinator Palooza offers fun and educational opportunities for all ages to learn how they can become champions for these hardworking wildlife species.
The event will take place near the picnic area and is free to attend after regular parking fees are paid.
