About this Event
During this hands-on workshop kids will create their very own pollinator homes! Participants will fill wooden birdhouses with a variety of paper straws, providing a cozy nesting spot for pollinators. After assembling their pollinator homes, the children will have a blast painting and decorating them to make each one unique.
During the workshop, students will learn about the vital role pollinators play in our environment and how they help plants grow and thrive. This fun and educational activity will inspire a love for nature and an understanding of the importance of supporting our pollinator friends.
By the end of the session, each child will take home their beautifully crafted pollinator home, ready to be placed in their garden or backyard, and a newfound appreciation for the wonders of nature.
Size, 7” tall, 6” wide, 5” deep. Class duration approximately 1 1/2 hours.
