Switchyard Park - City of Bloomington, IN | Bloomington, IN
Our Pollinator Habitat Workshop in 2025 was such a success that we are bringing an expanded version in a new location for 2026. Expect 2 mornings of learning to expand your knowledge and understanding, more parking, a more centralized location, and access to flushing restrooms!
Learn how to restore pollinator habitat with the Bloomington Parks and Recreation and biologists from the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Partners for Fish and Wildlife (PFW) Program. Topics to be covered include site selection and design, site preparation, plant selection, planting methods and maintenance, pollinator ID, and plant ID. The goal of this workshop series is to provide participants with the tools and knowledge to transform small areas of unused land (e.g. home, school, and church yards) into native pollinator habitat.
There is no charge to attend this program, but you must register in order to attend.
Additional details will be sent to registered participants closer to the event.
