Pollinator Garden Community Build
Celebrate Native Plant Week with Mount Pleasant Waterworks!
We need your help to plant a new pollinator garden at our water treatment plant off of Mathis Ferry Road! Volunteers will be working with Mount Pleasant Waterworks staff to install a native plant garden that provides habitat for our pollinators. The event is free. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Date and Time
Saturday, October 17th from 1PM - 3PM
Activities
• Grab refreshments and meet other volunteers.
• Plant, mulch, and water the pollinator garden.
• Visit often and watch it grow over time.
What To Bring
• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Gloves and a water bottle
• Hand trowels (we will have some available to share)
