Celebrate Native Plant Week with Mount Pleasant Waterworks!

We need your help to beautify our community pocket park at our water treatment plant in the Old Village! Volunteers will be working with Mount Pleasant Waterworks staff to install a native plant garden that provides habitat for our pollinators. The event is free. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Date and Time

Saturday, October 18th from 10am - Noon

Activities

• Grab refreshments and meet other volunteers.

• Plant, mulch, and water the pollinator garden.

• Visit often and watch it grow over time.

What To Bring

• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

• Gloves and a water bottle

• Hand trowels (we will have some available to share)

We'll be giving away a free rain barrel to a lucky volunteer at the build!
