About this Event
Join us as we learn and grow as a community!
The Great Florida Pollinator Census is a fantastic way to participate in scientific research and deepen your connection to our local ecology.
Learn to identify major pollinators, get tips on planting a pollinator garden, and contribute as a citizen scientist to this regional study!
Co-Presented by UF/IFAS Monroe County Extension and the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden.
This free workshop includes a presentation about pollinators and pollinator gardens, and time in the garden to conduct your own pollinator count.
Presentations last 30 minutes and will be offered at 10:30 and 11:30.
In addition to conducting pollinator counts, participants are encouraged to explore the gardens and participate in pollinator-themed crafts.
As this event will be held outdoors, it is recommended that participants bring a cold drink and a hat!
