✦✦✦ Pollinate Dance Returns! ✦✦✦In 2020, Pollinate Dance was at its peak—12 years of ecstatic movement, spirited gatherings, and consistently epic DJ sets. It was a space where we could all find freedom on the dance floor, surrounded by an artistic and embodied vibration. Over the years, Pollinate captured the hearts and imaginations of the Western MA dance scene, offering a hub that became an anchor in our community.
Then Covid shook up our world, and like so many, we took a hiatus. But the spark of Pollinate has never truly gone out—and now, it’s time to reignite the magic!
Brando & Brianna are thrilled to co-pilot this revival, bringing their shared vision and passion back to the dance floor. We’re planting new roots for Pollinate, holding it on fourth Fridays at Karuna—a place that feels like home.
For me, Brando, this revival feels especially meaningful. The arrival of my sweet baby, Jacob, has been a breath of fresh air—a source of renewal and vitality in my life. His presence has deepened my desire to create spaces for us to come together. I dream of offering him the gift of growing up surrounded by curious, embodied, and joyful people—sharing that blessing with all of you through dance.
Recently, Brianna has been dreaming of pouring more energy into dance, connection, and joy. We both feel the craving for more moments to move together and celebrate the vitality in our spheres.
We’re excited to join the incredible offerings already thriving in this area—like Earthshake, Dancestors, Sweet Spot, Solar Punk, and more. Together, we’re part of a vibrant ecosystem of movement and connection, each bringing its own unique flavor.
Pollinate’s revival is our way of adding to this hive, infusing it with the magic we all remember and love. Let’s dance, explore, and celebrate what it means to be together. We can’t wait to see you on the floor!

Starting his career on vinyl records in 1995, Hip SockiT learned and refined his DJ capabilities amidst a burgeoning electronic scene in Western Massachusetts. Since then, he has transitioned from vinyl to a digital rig; and now carefully combs the most gifted producers in underground sound. His thoughtful transitions between sounds, styles, and textures, keeps the air moist with dancer’s sweat.
