Pollen Bakery hosts Konjo for a one off charity supperclub!

We have a one night only supperclub with Konjo (sister restaurant to Joro) at pollen bakery in Manchester.
Konjo chefs will be cooking a four course epic east Asian inspired feast at pollen bakery in Manchester.
The menu will include

Snacks

Gochujang Focaccia

Crispy chilli oil butter

Hash brown

Truffle cream cheese, mushroom ketchup & alliums

Korean fried cauliflower

Crispy fried cauliflower, gochujang glaze, sesame & coriander

Starter

Beetroot

BBQ crapaudine beetroot, yuzu pickled golden beetroot, soya and pumpkin seed ricotta, fermented beetroot ponzu & toasted pumpkin seeds

Main

Char siu celeriac, grilled winter kales, sansho squash & Szechuan vinegarette

Served with a side of crispy fermented Yukon gold potatoes & garlic aioli

Sweet

Whipped 70% chocolate tofu, mandarin sorbet, compressed mandarin & crystalised chocolate

The restaurant is designed as an informal open plan dining room to create an immersed dining experience. With 8 tables, where guests share in the buzz of the kitchen and their complete passion for food. JÖRO has no dress code, allowing for a comfortable experience and welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy our tasting menus.

All of the profits will be given to Wild Salt CIC who host free food education sessions in Cheshire and greater Manchester. The food education sessions are mainly open to care leavers, people in social housing and students.
