About this Event

Looking to connect with like-minded individuals in a warm and welcoming environment? LGBT Foundation’s Trans Women’s Group is a new meet-up happening on the third Monday of every month. It is a place for trans feminine individuals to come together and make connections. We host a range of engaging events aimed at bringing you new experiences.

January 15th: Make up Session Learn all about makeup from Latifah of Indigo Moon Artists. Latifah will be running us through some everyday makeup skills. We'll provide some materials but feel free to bring your own!

A bit about Latifah: I run a makeup artist agency called Indigo Moon Artists we are based in Manchester. I created the brand to encourage people to have fun with makeup and feel great in their skin. I've had the business now for 5 years and we have teams of makeup artists all over the Uk doing events, filming, fashion and special occasion makeup. I'm an established artist and have been working in makeup for over 10 years doing every the big from special effects, to fashion to music videos.

February 19th: Activity to be announced

This group is for trans women, trans fems, trans feminine people, and any non-binary people wishing to access a trans women centred space, aged 18+.

This space will be led by:

Alma Renée (she/her) - Alma prides herself in helping others to find ways to feel empowered, resilient and special. She loves short poems, charity shops and stray cats.

Maribelle (she/her) - Maribelle is an educator working with charities to champion autonomy for marginalised communities. You might also find her writing, studying sociology, or with a polar bear.

To ensure our space is welcoming and inclusive, we require everyone to follow our Safer Spaces Policy.

Made possible thanks to the generous funding of Cheshire Community Fund.
