Polk County's Premier America250 Celebration: Polk County is a once-in-a-generation civic celebration honoring the founding ideals, enduring faith, and shared legacy of the United States of America as we approach the 250th anniversary of independence (1776–2026). Partnering with SUN ‘n FUN, Flight to Honor, and our Polk County Veterans Council! This formal, black-tie event convenes civic leaders, business executives, elected officials, veterans, faith leaders, and community stewards for an evening of reflection, gratitude, and patriotism.
