About this Event
Rotarians across the globe have been working dilligently to eradicate polio. Since 1988, there has been a worldwide reduction in polio cases of 99.9%. But we are not done. There are two countries remainIng with polio cases: Afghanistan and Pakistan. World Polio Day is October 24th. The Rotary Clubs of the St. Croix Valley will be hosting "Polio's Last Mile" walk on Saturday, October 25th to raise awareness and funds to eradicate polio. World Polio Day is a time for us to come together, recognize our progress in the fight to end polio, and to talk about the actions we need to take in order to end polio for good.
Join Rotarians and community leaders for a one-mile walk across the Stillwater lift bridge into Wisconsin and back. There will be opportunities to learn more about polio and Rotary along the way. All are welcome!
