Are you a parent with a young adult or are a young adult between the ages of 14 and 20 years? If so, please join the Lino Lakes Police Department Explorers for an informational meeting to learn what the program is all about!Our explorers get hands on experience through various law enforcement based scenarios and are able to attend a state conference held every year, where they show off their skills they've learned.
The meeting will be September 16th, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lino Lakes Police Department (640 Town Center Pkwy, Lino Lakes). Applications will be available for anyone interested after meeting. If you are unable to attend but are interested in receiving more information, please email [email protected].
This is a great way to learn about policing and to understand the job if you are considering law enforcement as your career path. Although this is a law enforcement program, the explorers learn additional life skills, like how to talk to people, de-escalation, boosted confidence in themselves, responsibility, and many more skills.
