My sell out popular Advanced pole intensive is back for 2027!
Ready to take your pole practice to the next level? This intensive training weekend is designed for advanced polers who want to expand their repertoire, refine technique, and push their limits in a focused and supportive environment. Across 7.5 hours of dedicated pole training, you’ll have the opportunity to explore new tricks, build strength and fluidity, and challenge yourself alongside like-minded athletes.
The weekend also features a special guest workshop in hand balancing from world Renowned poler and artist Imogen Gunter Zak! - my original pole mama, adding a unique dimension to your movement skills. To top it off, there’s an optional group meal in Worcester on Saturday evening — the perfect chance to relax, connect, and celebrate a full day of training.
Saturday March 13th
Arrive 10.30 ready for an 11am start
Workshop 1
Dynamic static 11-12.30pm
All the fun high octane tricks which Pam is known for! Learn power combos, energetic and unusual grip switches, and tricks which really add some adrenaline to a performance.
Workshop 2
Transition time 12.45-2.15pm
This workshop is all about unlocking creativity and flow through pole transitions. You’ll explore both spin and static combinations, learning how to link together unusual tricks in ways you may not have considered before. With a strong focus on biomechanical awareness, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how and why movements work — helping you move more efficiently and safely. By the end of the session, you won’t just have new combinations, but the tools to create your own pathways and transitions with confidence.
Workshop 3
Flex for pole 3pm-4.30pm
This workshop is designed to help you unlock beautiful, flexible-looking shapes on the pole — without needing to be naturally bendy. You’ll learn a range of tricks and techniques that create the illusion of flexibility, alongside drills that build mobility and improve rotation so you can get the most out of your body. We’ll break down each movement with a focus on body positioning and correct breathing, helping you feel more comfortable, supported, and confident in shapes that often feel inaccessible. Perfect for anyone who wants to move with greater ease and expression — no contortionist-level flexibility required.
Saturday evening meal in Worcester city centre 7pm
Sunday 14th March
11am arrival for 11.30am start
Workshop 1
Flips, drops and tumbles
This workshop is designed to help you tackle the moves that feel the most intimidating. Drawing on 20 years of gymnastics experience, this session breaks down technique and fear in a clear, progressive way, so you can truly understand the mechanics behind each movement and build confidence safely. You’ll learn a range of flips, explore adrenaline-pumping drops, and master flowing tumbles down the pole that create those unforgettable, heart-stopping moments in performance.
Workshop 2
Pole splits
My favourite thing to teach! You don’t need a flat split to achieve beautiful split lines on the pole. Each year o teach different pole splits and really break down how to achieve the most with your mobility and how to improve it whilst training.
Workshop 3
The art of hand balance with Imogen Gunter Zak
Join special guest Imogen Gunter Zak for a focused 90-minute hand balancing workshop, where she’ll share the key techniques and methods she’s developed over years of training. This session will cover the foundations of strong, efficient hand balance, with an emphasis on building mobility, and developing joint stability for safer, more confident practice. Suitable for those looking to refine their skills or build a stronger base, this workshop offers practical tools you can continue to apply beyond the session. Wrist supports are recommended for your comfort and support throughout.
