Start the new year with a splash! Join us for the annual Polar Bear Plunge on January 1, 2026.
Brave the chilly waters of Lake Washington at Matthews Beach Park (5100 NE 93rd St) and earn your official courage badge. The main plunge happens at 12 noon sharp. A special cubs dive for younger participants will take place at 11:45 a.m.
This free event is supervised by lifeguards. Will you take the plunge?
