A prerelease event is the perfect introduction to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It provides a beginner-friendly environment where everyone plays on an even field, making it a great way to learn and enjoy the game.
For this event, the newest set is Mega Evolution!

Each player receives a Build & Battle Kit which includes:
- 4 booster packs from Mega Evolution
- A 23-card “evolution pack” with trainers, energy, and some pre-selected evolution lines
From those cards, players will build a 40-card deck (instead of the usual 60) And battle other trainers in best-of-one, 4 prize card matches instead of 6.
