The launch party will consist of an OPEN and WOMEN'S event.Format: Pingolf Qualifying & Finals

A 5-hole course will be selected for the tournament.
For qualifying, players will be randomly assigned to a group of 3 or 4 players.
Each Pin-Hole will consist of a pinball machine with a target score. The number of balls it takes for the player to reach that target score will represent the number of Pin-Strokes earned for that hole. Should a player not reach the target score after a full game is completed, a stroke value will be determined based on how close the player was to the target score at the end of their game.
For example, the target score of Taxi may be set at 450,000 points. A player will continue playing the game until they reach 450,000 points. If reached, the number of balls it took to reach that score will be recorded for that Pin-Hole. If the player fails to reach the target score after 3 balls are played, they will be awarded a score based on how close they were to that target:
80–100% = 4 strokes
60–79% = 5 strokes
<60% = 6 strokes
For example:
Taxi (Par = 450,000)
360,000 – 449,990 = 4 strokes
270,000 – 359,999 = 5 strokes
0 – 269,999 = 6 strokes
A maximum of 6 Pin-Strokes per Pin-Hole will be enforced. Scores will be cumulative across all rounds played.
For the first game, players will play in the order assigned by tournament software. For subsequent games, the player that has the lowest number of strokes will go first on the next machine, in ascending order of finish.
The top 4 qualifiers will advance to finals.
Finals will consist of three machines. The top two seeds will get to eliminate one of the five machines used in qualifying from the finals bank, effectively creating a finals bank of 3 machines.
Any and all meaningful ties will be broken and played on a randomly selected machine.
