Calling all Pokémon trainers! Whether you’re already a Pokémon master, or you’re just starting to collect them all, join us for all things Pokémon at club meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Trainers will be able to learn about and play the trading card game, trade cards, and participate in other Pokémon-themed activities. Attend meetings to collect badges and earn prizes. Pokémon Club is for all ages, but geared for trainers aged 8 and older.
Join us for our regular club meetings on Wednesday, October 14 and Wednesday, October 28 at 3:45 PM at the Yankton Community Library (515 Walnut St)! New trainers can continue to learn how to play the trading card game and enjoy other activities. Already know how to play? You can earn rewards by supporting new players as they learn the game!
Trainers can also join us in the afternoon on Friday, October 23 from 2-4 PM for an additional club meeting this month.
The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) have partnered with The Pokémon Company International to provide resources to establish Pokémon Clubs at libraries.
