What does Skydiving, Poker, and Tequila have in common? It’s the Skydive Elsinore Poker Run! This is a Five Round, Handicap 6 way formation skydiving meet. Once a team lands from each round, one player gets handed a playing card. Don’t show it, cause at the end of the competition you get to play your hand in a game of poker. Poker Run is also an opportunity to "rat out" any of your teammates to the Master of Ceremony as they will be called out for any kind of penalty or first you can think of. To be clear, taking a penalty shot of tequila is not mandatory, since you'll be hanging out with a bunch of skydivers, some one else is always willing to step up. This year Poker Run will be part of the SoCal SkyQuest League, stay tune for more information.
Registration price $1100 per team, includes all team slots, and judge’s fees. If your video flyer charges an additional fee, the team will need to cover that.
Stick around after the awards and poker game, traditionally the winner of the poker pot, buys pizza with the winnings. Great opportunity to visit and tell "NO sh*t there I was" stories.
