FORMAT INFO
Standard is typically considered the primary and most competitive format in Pokémon TCG. The deck construction rules for Constructed formats are as follows:
• The deck must contain exactly 60 cards.
• Decks may not contain more than 4 copies of a single card, as defined by the card’s English language translation, except for Basic Energy cards.
• Matches are played for 6 Prize cards.
Cards with “G” and “H” regulation marks will be legal to use (as will any future regulation marks that may be released).. A card’s legality status is no longer based on which expansion it’s from. New cards still must follow the appropriate waiting period to become tournament legal, which is typically two weeks from their release.
PRIZING
Each player’s entry adds a booster pack to the prize pool that will be distributed among top finishers. Additionally, participating players will earn a Pokémon Trading Card Game promo card featuring Pikachu and a San Francisco-inspired background.
The winner of each age division (Junior, Senior, and Masters) will earn a copy of the promo card with “WINNER” stamped on it as well as a Worlds Celebration themed deck box and card sleeves to flex their next deck!
