Pokemon GO events are finally here and shall be hosted every month!
These events are a great way to get started in the world of competitive Pokemon GO. These events are small, entry level events on a local scale that allow you to earn Championship Points and work towards an invite to the Pokemon World Championships!
The Pokemon GO League Challenge is open to all players, though Pokemon Player IDs are required, see below for more info on this.
The event will start at 3:00pm on the dot so please make sure all team lists are filled in before the event is due to start, registration is open from 2:30pm.
Team lists MUST be received before the event. If you require a team list we can provide one for you, alternatively download one here. Please make sure your teams adhere to the current Pokemon GO championship series banned Pokemon list. The list can be found here.
This will be a swiss tournament with a total round time of 20 minutes. There is a pre-set time to show your opponent all 6 Pokemon brought with you and you will pick 3 of these to take into the match. If possible, please try to use the record function during these matches to use as evidence for any discrepancy or issue. It will be difficult to prove issue in the event if not doing so.

Phone chargers/power banks will NOT be provided for you and are not available to borrow, so please bring your own to the event.
Championship Points are earned by final placement, see below for the breakdown.

Important info RE Player IDs - please read:
To partake in this event you will be required to have a pokemon player ID set up BEFORE the event start time. Please make sure this is set up in advance to enable participation. If you do not have one, please contact us by emailing [email protected] to assign you an ID number. You will then need to finish creating the account via www.pokemon.com with a PIN provided by us with your player ID.
For PARENTS - Children require parental consent to create one of these accounts, you will need to review and set it up for them to access an ID. If you do not have an ID and account set up prior to the event start time, you will NOT be able to take part. If you already have an ID with us and provided us with this confirmation, you do not need to do so again. Any questions please let us know!

1x Pokemon promo pack per entry is added to the prize pool. These are split top heavy amongst the Top 8 players or the Top 50% of players, conditional to the number of participants.
