The first Pokémon video games, Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, were originally released in Japan on 27 February 1996, launching an entertainment franchise loved by Trainers worldwide. Since then, 27 February has been known as Pokémon Day, a time to come together and celebrate all things Pokémon!
What Is the Pokémon Day 2026 Celebration Event?
We are rewarding our best-performing stores with an allotment of promotional materials including a Play! Pokémon promo card, stickers, Pikachu paper visors, and Pokémon Trading Card Game Prize Packs! These are intended to be distributed as participation prizes to all attendees (while supplies last) during your event celebrating Pokémon Day 2026.
Additionally, you will receive Pokémon TCG products that you may distribute randomly as raffle prizes or include with the various promotional materials given to your attendees.
You will also receive Pokémon Day–branded materials to decorate your store.
