Step into the rice trap in this once-in-a-lifetime experience, where Chef Keith Allard, the owner/operator of Wikiwiki Poke, will walk you through every step in creating your own poke bowl based on the unique processes, sauces, and garnishes that made Wikiwiki a legendary Grand Rapids restaurant.
Participants will learn the secrets of making WIkiwiki's renowned sushi rice, several of Wikiwiki's famous sauces (including spicy mayo, shoyu vinaigrette, and miso ranch), and will be able to watch and participate in the breaking down of an entire salmon.
All participants will get to make their own large poke bowl at the end of the class, and we'll taste our work as we go. We'll also have some Wikiwiki themed snacks. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Music will be loud and geared heavily towards hip-hop. It's a party folks!
