Join us for our first ever Beef Butchering & Braising class! In the first portion of the class, one of our Butchers will walk you through an abbreviated butchering demo of a beef chuck, showing you where brisket, short ribs, and beef shank all come from on the animal.In the second portion of the class, Chef Billy will discuss how to prepare the three cuts from the butchering demo, and will cover everything you need to know about braising meats in general. We will discuss the best cuts for braising, learn essential techniques for seasoning, searing and preparing ingredients, and we will guide you through the entire braising process step-by-step, ensuring you feel confident in your skills. We will conclude our time together by feasting on dishes produced from the braising techniques learned in the class.
Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the class.
