Poke-a-Pot - Kids clay workshop

Join potters Cailin and Arvinda at the Merseyway Workshop for a 2 hour workshop designed for children to play and discover the creative possibilities of clay!

There will be a range of experimental clay-based activities on offer, designed for children to explore different ways of creating form and texture using a variety of tools and techniques.

The group will be guided to create simple sculptural forms or vessels, with a focus on creativity, curiosity, and hands-on exploration.

This session is aimed at children aged 7+.

We ask that a responsible adult stays at the workshop throughout the event for supervision and support.

Knowledge Required

• Beginner - This session is for ages 7+ only. We ask that a responsible adult stays at the workshop throughout the event to supervise and support the child.

Techniques You Will Explore

Handbuilding, sculpting, textures.

What to bring

• Relaxed clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. Bring your own apron if you have one.

Transport

• We are within a short walk from Stockport train and bus station. Parking is available at the Merseyway Shopping Centre NCP.

Refunds and Booking Terms

• Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As the workshop fees part support the work we do for as a non-for-profit, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.

• Unfortunately we cannot offer part refunds if you miss a session or are unable to attend!
