Divers anticipated to arrive at the parking lot around 630am preceding the high tide at 730am.
This particular dive site features a shore entry, making it an ideal location for a shake-out dive, an individual’s first saltwater dive, or an opportunity to acclimate to Jersey diving without the need for a boat or dealing with heavy surf and waves.
Additional details regarding water temperatures and conditions will be shared as the date approaches. The dive site depth ranges approximately 25 feet.
Marine life commonly encountered at this site may include fluke, sea bass, crabs, horseshoe crabs, and predominantly blackfish (tog), with the possibility of spotting lobsters as well.
Recommended equipment for this dive includes, but is not limited to:• Floating dive flag• Hood and gloves• Dry suit or appropriately mm wetsuit (water temperatures are expected to be in the 50s, possibly low 60s)• Flashlight• Two cutting devices• Dive computer• Compass• Camera• Surface marker buoy (SMB) with reel
