Our Friendly Neighborhood Poet Laureate Emeritus Mario Willis will be appearing for his YEARLY Poet's Monday Feature this years feature will be an introduction to the stage of his CURRENT Chapbook "Pub Games, Sophistry, and The Rush to Judgement".
Mario “The Poet” Willis is a poet, podcaster and spoken word artist. A Milwaukee native, Mario has been featured throughout the city and the Midwest as a spoken word artist, writing guide and performance coach. He is a two-time member of Milwaukee's National Poetry Slam Team and served as the Milwaukee Public Library Poet Laureate (2022-2024). Mario’s motto “Don’t Panic, Be Awesome” has become his life’s work through his writing and philanthropy.
A show you DO NOT want to miss. Mario plans to bring his full powers to this solo performance. There will be the normal Open Mic for Poets interested in performing some of their original work or the work of someone they appreciate.
