Theatre Visage’s newest production Poet’s Corner looks at works from a range of poets throughout time through a reimagined lens. Explore several classic poems written and reworked by this talented cast through mask work such as Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Raven,’ Sappho’s ‘Ode to Aphrodite,’ and many more.

There's an album coming out called "The Second Coming". This guy at a party is really excited to tell you about it but he's kind of not making any good points. This is the life of The Falcon, who is dedicated to shaking The Best's "unshakeable" expectations.

Can it Really be you, my Dear Lenore? by Daniel Buys; inspired by The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe
A what if scenario based on Edgar Allen Poe's poem: The Raven. What if The Poet got to see his lost love Lenore again? Would it be just like old times? This piece explores what that might look like and its beautiful ramifications.

Ode To Aphrodite by Nicholas Olsen; inspired by Sappho’s First Fragment
Built around Sappho’s first fragment, Sappho laments to Aphrodite about her unrequited longing to a close friend. The piece playfully explores sapphic yearning as Aphrodite (almost in vain) attempts to coach Sappho on her dramatic profession of love.

The Death of a Toad by LV; inspired by Richard Wilbur
This story asks the question that has been plaguing humanity since the dawn of civilisation. Is death kind? But more importantly, does he like frogs? Explore the idea of moving on through the lens of a snarky frog, as inspired by the Richard Wilbur poem: The Death of a Toad.

Hymn to Pan, Ode to Apollo by Brady Neilson; inspired by Percy Bysshe Shelley
Pan is all prepared to share a poem, a gripping story, a soliloquy if you will with a lovely audience. When suddenly Apollo comes barging in, trying to take the spotlight in typical fashion. These two wordsmiths will now fight for their right to be heard.
