Emceed by the incomparable Daniel Handler! Two teams of poets from the Bay Area and beyond--Katie Peterson, Jason Bayani, D. M. Spratley, Dora Prieto, Joseph Kidney, and Brandon Logans--take turns batting at poem topics pitched to them by the audience.Fastballs, curveballs, knuckleballs: these poets won't know what's coming next! Lots of laughs guaranteed. Umpires Danusha Lameris and Susan Browne will score each batter's reading, and the winning team takes the series title. Book sale and signing will follow the reading.
This is a free event; registration recommended if you'd like to join us at 6:30 for wine, beer, and popcorn! Registration link to be posted here soon. Program starts at 7PM.
