Originally from Budapest, Mr. Szirtes fled to the United Kingdom as a political refugee when he was eight years old.
Across his multivalent career, he has combined his knowledge of fine art, multiple languages, and living between borders to yield a body of deeply personal works.
Poems must be no longer than forty lines. They should be typed in Times New Roman 12, double spaced, and display your name as well as the title.
Each workshop session is capped at 10 participants.
