Poetry Workshop with poet and teacher, Hannah Botkin!

At That's Novel Books April 7th, 6-7pm

Workshop focused on improving imagery writing in poetry by studying the Imagist movement in poetry. Specifically, we will be looking at The Red Wheelbarrow poem to see how much of an impact we can create with very few lines.

Hannah Botkin, an English teacher with a BFA in creative writing from University of North Carolina Wilmington writes alongside her service dog, Gatsby. Her work explores the intersections of memory, nature, and trauma to validate buried feelings and show her students that poetry doesn’t have to be perfect to matter, it just has to breathe.
