About this Event
This poetry workshop will feature three sections:
The poetics of healing
The poetics of reclamation
The poetics of transformation
We will delve into both postcolonial South Asian poetry and contemporary British poetry to develop empowering poetry practices. This will include accessible writing tasks and guidance around crafting three poems of you own!
This workshop is part of a larger series, Re-membering South Asian Feminist Poetics, that will culminate in a poetry festival and poetry zine.
All participants will have the opportunity to enter their poetry to be published in the poetry zine.
Workshop is open to all women whether you are new to poetry or a published poet!
