On Saturday July 18, 2026 at the Warr Acres Library the Poetry Society of Oklahoma will host the Annual Summer Workshop.
Our featured speaker is Kristen Grace a versatile journalist and author with a background in Nursing Science from Oklahoma Baptist University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Oklahoma City University. Based in Oklahoma City, she regularly contributes to "405 Magazine" and "Art Focus."
Kristen is well-known for her deep involvement in the local literary and arts community. She serves as a writer and book concierge for Literari Press Bookshop and has even authored several books, including "The Stepmother Who Believed in Feathers" and "Wings." Her extensive journalism work spans everything from local profiles to in-depth arts and culture features across the state.
We encourage everyone who attends to bring pen and paper - be prepared to work and learn.
