Join the Poetry Society of New Hampshire on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, from 4:30-6:00 pm for an afternoon of poetry! Their headliner this month is poet Zee Stewart. An open mic follows their reading.
Poet bio: Zee Stewart (they/she) is an overly hopeful Libra based in southern New Hampshire. She stumbled into a dingy bar backroom one Thursday night in early 2018, and has let herself get lovingly lost in the art of performance poetry ever since. Holding a volunteer staff position at Slam Free or Die Poetry Slam since 2021, the poetry community from New England and beyond has become her planting place for roots that strive towards community-based joy and remembrance. As the themes of love and vulnerability get continually woven throughout her work, taking the stage time and time again has become her central way of sharing and celebrating the magic behind poetry with the world. As of July 2024, Zee is the current secretary of the Poetry Society of New Hampshire and the host of the Gibson’s reading in Concord, NH, sponsored by PSNH. You can often find her yearning or crying to Hozier’s discography (honestly, both activities are applicable) with a shaken espresso in one hand and her Apple Pencil in the other.
She hopes that her work helps you find the light, because they want to stroll into it with you.
