About this Event
Join us for an evening with poets and friends David Gorin and Kristen Case as they come through town. Space is limited so please reserve your spot! We will serve our Poet Tea as well as complimentary snacks.
David Gorin is the author of To a Distant Country, selected by Jennifer Chang for a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship. He is the curator of the WAVEMACHINE poetry and performance series in San Francisco and Co-Editor of The Constant Critic at Fence. Keep up with him at www.davidgorin.net.
Kristen Case is a poet and scholar. Her books include American Pragmatism and Poetic Practice, Little Arias, Principles of Economics, Henry David Thoreau's Kalendar, and Daphne. She has co-edited several essay collections on American writers, and is currently editing the Oxford Handbook of Henry David Thoreau. She lives in Maine.
About the venue:
Curio Spice Co. in Cambridge is proud to celebrate the opening of it's bookstore and sensory classroom! By day the space serves as an additional retail space adjacent to the spice shop, where guests can explore cookbooks, memoirs, poetry, children's books, and more.
By night the space serves as a community art & learning space where we offer spice blending classes alongside author readings, pottery workshops and more. The space is homey and filled with the aromas of our fresh, ethically-sourced spices. Come visit!
