Joanna Klink's poems have appeared in a range of journals and anthologies, including Poetry, The Paris Review, The Penguin Anthology of Twentieth Century Poetry, and Revisiting the Rothko Chapel. She has received awards and fellowships from the Rona Jaffe Foundation, Civitella Ranieri, the Bogliasco Foundation, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Trust of Amy Lowell, and the Guggenheim Foundation. Her most recent book, The Nightfields, published by Penguin in 2020, was named one of the “Best Poetry Collections of 2020” by The Washington Post and “an expansive…remarkable volume” by The New York Times. She teaches at the Michener Center for Writers in Austin, Texas.
