Poetry Out Loud: Winter Camp

YoloArts and Beats Lyrics Leaders are teaming up to present a Poetry Out Loud winter camp, designed to help poets refine their skills and prepare for competition. Participants will learn how to translate tone, context, and emotion into their performances, ensuring a powerful delivery of their chosen poem. Expert guidance will be provided on selecting the right poem and expressing its meaning effectively.

Compete for the chance to win $200 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third. Join us to elevate your performance and claim your spot as a top poet! Sign up for free workshop series. We'll see you December 18th, 19th, and 20th 1:30- 4:30 pm.

Workshops will consist of:

1.) Students will learn how to interpret poetry. How do we bring our poetry to life? The dramatization of poetry through

2.) Students will learn how to compete for the Poetry Out Loud Competition. Students will pick three poems and master the art of spoken poetry.
