About this Event

Join us for a poetry open mic with special guest Heather McMahon.

Poet Heather McMahon's debut collection I Was Always Worthy was released in June of this year. Her writing explores heartbreak with openness and honesty, and the journey of healing through the realizing that worthiness doesn’t come from outside sources.

She believes in the power poetry holds to remind us that we are not alone, and many feelings are more universal than we often realize.

Follow her on Instagram to keep up to date on upcoming book news and future events. @heathermcmahonwrites

We will open the evening with a discussion of Heather's work and readings from I Was Always Worthy, with an open mic to follow.
