Featured Poet: Yuki Jackson is a Black and Japanese poet, writer and educator. Yuki's poetry has been published in numerous literary journals and publications including Four Way Review and Cream City Review, for which she was nominated for a Best of the Net Award and the Summer Poetry Prize. Her poetic writings and visual poetry have also been showcased in various exhibitions and venues, such as the Goodwin-Procter law firm, Spady Cultural Heritage Museum and The Straz Center, where she was featured as a playwright for an interdisciplinary and collaborative performance.
Yuki's teaching experience includes conducting poetry workshops and writing classes for a broad range of ages, backgrounds and abilities. She has taught writing as an adjunct professor at Ringling College of Art and Design, as well as a freelance writing instructor for several nonprofits, businesses and schools.
