We, Lady and Lord Dosis, invite you to lie down and embark upon a most tender and surprising voyage — Poetry Nap 🦜 The Nature of Love — on Saturday, June 27 at the Filoli Gardens’ Redwood Grove in Woodside. Together we shall drift to an enchanted island where kindness governs the hours, and kinship is the common tongue — between roots and rivers, beasts and beings, you and we, they and she.
Our giant hot-air-balloon bed, the Dandy Duchess, awaits your presence — her great globe sighing with sleep, her sheets fluttering with curiosity. We’ll voyage together from the ground up, lying upon the Earth, so BYOBedding! For your comfort we most emphatically recommend an ample nest of camping or sleeping mats, blankets, pillows, or inflatable clouds—the more plush, the more lush!
Doors open at 4:30 pm, so please arrive early to ready your cocoon before the evening’s voyage begins. Feel free to arrive in pajamas, robes, or any attire befitting a gentle journey through dreams. And though we love children dearly, this nap is for those sixteen and up only.

In order to have a peaceful, uninterrupted adult nap, although we love them dearly, please no children. The voyage is for ages 16 and up.
