About this Event

Unplug. Create. Connect. 🌿

Sometimes you just need a afternoon to breathe, gather with like-minded women, and fill your cup. Whether you write poetry every day or haven’t written a verse since middle school, Poetry in the Park was created just for you!

Join a warm circle of Christian women as we gather along Lake Michigan for a fun, interactive experience. We’ll dive into Scripture, play with creative spoken word prompts, share laughs, and celebrate the beauty of sisterhood in a completely judgment-free space.

No pressure, no performance—just good vibes, high encouragement, and room for your voice to be heard.

✨ What to Expect:
  • Spoken Word Inspiration: Hear a few spoken word experts inspire us with their art.
  • Sip & Scripture Station: Grab a refreshing drink and draw a scripture prompt to spark your creativity.
  • Interactive Writing Play: A fun, stress-free mini-workshop designed to make spoken word easy and accessible for everyone.
  • "Snap & Echo" Open Circle: An encouraging space to share your creation (or simply listen and snap along in support!).
