Come and practice for the reknown Launceston Poetry Cup!In this practice session cup rules will be maintained but handicaps are given to known and publlished poets, to even up the playing field. Cash prizes are available to be won!
RULES:
- Must be an orginal poem by the reader/performer
- Delivered in one (1) minute or less, from when they begin speaking (i.e. no wasting your time on intros!)
- The winner is the entrant who has generated the loudest and most enthusiastic response from the audience, according to the judges, minus their handicap of course!
- The judges decision is final.
