Join us at the British Council Lahore Library for an evening of poetic expression and reflection.
In January's poetry circle, celebrate the art of the poetic world by exploring the works of great British poets like Lord Byron, Dylan Thomas and John Keats. Read great poetry and get a chance to create new work with the facilitator, Umayr Aamir.
Share your thoughts, listen to others, and be inspired by the wonderful world of rhythmic words through poetry. Whether you’re an experienced poet or a curious newcomer, this is the perfect opportunity to explore your voice and connect with others through the powerful medium of verse. About the Facilitator:
Umayr is a poet and a published author. His debut poetry collection "Sweet Venom Baby" was launched in March 2024 which paved the way for poetry and philosophy. Umayr is studying visual communication design at Punjab University and is passionate about teaching poetry and literature through his personal experiences.
