Calling all POETS of Hastings and thereabouts! We are aiming to set a new UK record for the longest continuous poetry open mic session, and we want YOU to take part! (And if you don't want to perform, please come along to watch and relax with a drink!)
The record attempt will take place on Saturday, 11th October 2025 at Hot Tap Theatre, St Andrew's Mews, Hastings TN34 1SJ - across the road from Marks & Spencer. There's a bar and lounge area in the rooms above the theatre itself. The event will start at 9am with a special guest appearance from BAFTA-Award winning television producer, writer, poet and all-round comedy genius Henry Normal.
Our target is thirteen hours of non-stop poetry performance, starting at 9am and finishing at 10pm.
