Following the success of last year's Doctor Who at the Electric Palace Cinema, Project Art Works brings you a Doctor Who Cyberman Special with three classic Cyberman episodes plus art installation.This screening is part of the Electric Palace’s second TV Festival, an annual celebration of John Logie Baird, whose pioneering television experiments in Hastings over a century ago earned the town the title 'Birthplace of Television.
With thanks to the BFI National Archive for this annual festival of communal TV watching, discussion and reminiscence. Please note that the rare nature of this screening means we will be screening from BFI archives and original tapes which have not been remastered for home video or iPlayer releases and maybe not meet modern quality standards - but could be more rough and ready!
Works in the exhibition will include The Assmilator by Daniel Wells which showed at the Hastings Comic Con Festival earlier this year.
This screening will take place at Project Art Works' Trinity Hall studio space, with high ambient light levels and the option to move around the space throughout the film.
