Poderi Moretti Winery owned by Francesco Moretti is the natural evolution of a long-established family wine estate born from the union of the Occhetti and Moretti families who have been rooted in the Roero region (Piedmont Italy) since 1630 as documented in the historical land registry of Monteu Roero.
Today the winery is managed by Francesco Moretti together with his children Alessandra and Riccardo who carry on the family’s passion for high-quality winemaking.
Located in Monteu Roero with vineyards also in Montaldo Roero Santo Stefano Roero Vezza d’Alba and Govone Poderi Moretti is a historic and well-established winery in the heart of Piedmont.
The estate covers 42 hectares including 22 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the iconic variety of the Roero hills.

At the prestigious CWSA 2025 – China Wine and Spirits Awards one of the world’s leading international wine competitions Poderi Moretti’s red wines achieved remarkable results:
- 🥇 Roero Riserva DOCG 2021 Occhetti® – Gold Medal
- 🥇 Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2024 – Gold Medal
- 🥈 Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC 2022 – Silver Medal
All wines are made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the estate’s finest vineyards: Occhetti® Trinità San Michele® Gorrini Vadonia®.
Elegant complex and authentic these wines express the essence of the Piedmont terroir and are now recognized internationally for their quality and style.

- Vinification: traditional fermentation in stainless steel with long maceration (about 15 days)
- Ageing: 18 months in large oak casks and barrels followed by 6 months in stainless steel
- Refinement: 12 months in bottle at controlled temperature
- 👉 A refined and elegant Roero with fruity floral and spicy notes well-balanced structure and freshness.
🍇 Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2024 – Gold Medal CWSA 2025
- Vinification: traditional fermentation in stainless steel (15 days)
- Ageing: 12 months in oak followed by 6 months in stainless steel
- Refinement: 12 months in bottle at controlled temperature
- 👉 Fine and expressive Nebbiolo offering aromas of red fruits flowers and sweet spices.

- Vinification: traditional fermentation in stainless steel (15 days)
- Ageing: 12 months in oak followed by 6 months in stainless steel
- Refinement: 12 months in bottle at controlled temperature
