About this Event

Poder y Protección is a beginner-friendly self-defense and safety workshop created to help women of color feel more confident, informed, and prepared.

Join Empowering Latinas Leadership Academy (ELLA) for a morning focused on personal safety, boundaries, self-advocacy, and community connection. Led by bilingual movement educator and self-defense instructor Marya Cardona, participants will learn practical techniques while exploring how awareness, body language, boundaries, and emotional wellbeing can all play a role in personal safety.

No previous self-defense or fitness experience is needed. This workshop is designed to be welcoming and accessible to participants of all experience levels.
